Yum Cha's dim sum is very good. They don't have carts so you order from the waiter and they bring out as it's cooked. The pork and leek fried dumplings were perfectly fried with the right amount of crunch on the wrapper. The turnip cake was also fried crispy which is what I like. I do have to downgrade for the lack of ambiance. I understand being understaffed and covid but paper plates and plastic utensils is a bit much. Also, their portions are smaller on some items i.e. char siu baos have 2 in the basket, turnip cakes were cut smaller. Variety is okay but not as extensive as some of the restaurants in SoCal. I do miss the carts.
Decent spot for a dim sum fix. Some off the menu items can be made for orders They have a decent list of variety. Some items are actually better than the ones in the Bay Area. Don't bother with entrées. They are ok, but you are here for their dim sum.
Easy parking (in the morning when I went), spacious interior layout, attentive servers, and most importantly, Hong Kong style Dim Sum just like I remember it in Hong Kong. I would definitely come back.
Lots of tasty, unique, fresh and piping hot dim sum choices. You'll find the usual hargow, shumai, short ribs, charsiu baos & chicken feet. But also beef tendon, jelly fish, shrimp stuffed egg plant and so much more. There's also a regular menu with noodles, chow fun and more! The service was friendly and helpful. Check their hours before you go, because some nights they close early. Definitely worth going, and we will be back!!
If you're craving dim sum, this is the place to go to! They have a variety of dim sum plates and standard Chinese dishes and I'm sure you'll find something appetizing! The best part is that they serve dim sum all day and is open 7 days a week! The service was on top of it and the ambience was nice and clean. I also love how they have pictures on their menu!
